Five Signs You're Ready to Start Strength Training

I've worked with so many women over the years, but there's one thing I hear a LOT. Many women tell me they want to start lifting weights, but they're waiting until they "lose a little weight first."
Honestly, here's my advice: start now!
Strength training isn't something you earn after reaching a certain size. It's one of the tools that helps you get there.
If you've ever caught yourself saying...
• "I have no idea what I'm doing in the gym."
• "I want to feel stronger carrying groceries or playing with my kids."
• "I want to build muscle instead of spending hours on the treadmill."
• "I want to feel confident wearing a tank top again."
• "I don't want to lose weight just to end up feeling weak."
...then you're ready.
You don't need to know every exercise or have the perfect clothes. You don't even need to feel confident yet.
You just need somewhere to begin.
The confidence comes after you've shown up a few times—not before.
